Warming Center

The Warming Center provides a safe and warm environment for anyone when temperatures approach near freezing. It opens up yearly, approximately between December 1 and February 1, for anyone who does not have a safe, warm place to sleep. Those in need may come in for Chapel (although it is not mandatory), spend the night, and have breakfast. The chapel is converted into a warming center at 8:30 p.m.

An adult and a child sit on a sleeping bag in a room with brick walls. The adult is packing a bag while the child holds a teddy bear. They are looking at each other and smiling.

Hope Is Never Alone

When Doors Close, God’s People Step In

As Government shelters shut down, Fresno Mission is stepping in to fill the gap this Thanksgiving—and we’re asking for your help to provide meals, care, and hope where they’re needed most.
