Food is the most basic human need, and it feeds our desire to build relationships with people through a simple meal.
The Fresno Mission receives food donations from local businesses and individuals, who generously give out of the compassion they feel for those in need in our community. These donations allow us to feed our guests at the Searcy Center and Family Center, along with everyone who joins us for our evening meal. Because of the generosity of these members of the community, we are able to share food with other agencies, churches, and ministries. It also allows us to provide for families in need as part of our outreach ministries.
A hot evening meal is available to anyone in need, and we provide grab & go items to the community.
Evening Meal
4:45–5:30 p.m. for elderly, youth & families
5:30–6:15 p.m. for everyone else
There are no requirements to receive these meals.
Dinner is served seven days a week, 365 days of the year, including holidays!
Food is shared among many other local nonprofit agencies, depending on need and availability.
