Community Care

Opening the Front Door To Hope and Help

Community Care connects single men and women in crisis to the resources and support the Fresno Mission provides. We meet them at their most crucial point and guide them to services provided. It is a programmatic housing program where people in crisis will find a warm bed at night, case management to help guide them to personal goals, and housing navigation. Beyond meeting their immediate needs, case managers walk alongside them through the journey of obtaining stability.

A boy carries a large plastic bin filled with items into a building while people, including adults and children, enter through the door behind him. The atmosphere is busy and welcoming.
A woman sits at a table in a library, smiling with her hand resting on her cheek. An open book is in front of her, and bookshelves filled with books are in the background.

Community Care Provides:

  • Assessment & Guidance: Compassionate caseworkers who evaluate individual needs and create a personalized plan
  • Resource Navigation: Connection to Fresno Mission programs, external services, and community resources
  • Follow-Up Support: Ongoing check-ins and assistance to ensure progress and sustained transformation
  • Relational Care: Mentorship, spiritual guidance, and community support to foster hope and dignity

Community Care ensures no one gets lost in the complexity of available services, instead offering clarity, compassion, and a clear path forward.

He Brings New Life

The Door Stays Open

There are people in our community who feel lost, broken, and without anywhere to turn.

At Fresno Mission, they find something different—grace, dignity, and Christ-centered restoration.

Lives are being rebuilt. Faith is being restored. New life is beginning.

This Easter, you can help keep the door open for someone ready for change.
