When the ceremony ended on October 2, the celebration kept going. Anthony, owner of Anthony’s Tacos, rolled up with his food truck and served all 43 Fresno Mission graduates a free meal as they stepped into a new chapter of their lives.

For Anthony, the meal was about more than tacos. It was a way to show the graduates that their community sees them, welcomes them and is cheering them on.
“It’s a blessing to give back to the graduates from Fresno Mission. I want to uplift them and spread the love of Jesus. I want them to feel accepted and pushed forward back into the community.” — Anthony, Anthony’s Tacos
That kind of welcome matters. After months of hard work in our recovery program, our graduates are returning to their families, jobs and neighborhoods. A warm meal and a kind word from a local business owner remind them they are not walking that road alone.
Thank you, Anthony and the Anthony’s Tacos team, for your generosity and for sharing the love of Jesus with our graduates. If you’re looking for great food in Fresno, or need catering for your next event, visit anthonystacos.com and show them some love.
