Stories of Faith: RTC | Empowering Women

“Leticia” completed financial literacy courses in March. She did not have a bank account. Since finishing the class, she contacted her former bank about getting a checking account. Because of her history banking there, she was required to work through an appeal process. Leticia made an appointment and wrote a letter to bank management entailing her recovery journey and future intentions. Her appeal was granted once she repaid past fees.

Leticia is now working full-time. She is working on her budget and ways to minimize spending. She realized the money she could save by purchasing a monthly bus pass rather than daily passes. She also recognized some inconsistencies on her credit score and is working through the dispute process.

He Is Risen

And New Life Is Happening Here

Because Christ rose from the grave, despair does not get the final word.

At Fresno Mission, the faith of resurrection is lived every day. It’s lived through Christ-centered care, restored lives, and renewed purpose.

This Easter, you can help new life continue.
