Little Caesars Love Kitchen Serves 100 Pizzas at Fresno Mission City Center

On Monday, October 12, the Little Caesars Love Kitchen pulled up to Fresno Mission City Center and served 100 pizzas to about 400 Fresno Mission guests and staff. For one evening, families staying with us gathered together for a warm, hot-from-the-oven dinner, served by people who came simply to show they care.

The Love Kitchen is a big-rig pizza restaurant on wheels. It travels across the country serving free pizza to people facing hunger, homelessness and disaster, and it has served more than 4 million people since it first hit the road 40 years ago.

100 pizzas, 400 guests, one evening

The Love Kitchen team and local Little Caesars volunteers arrived at City Center that afternoon to set up. From 4:45 to 5:45 p.m., they served slice after slice straight from the truck to the families we serve.

In just one hour, about 400 guests enjoyed a warm, delicious dinner together. For families who are walking through some of the hardest seasons of their lives, a shared meal like this is a welcome break and a chance to simply enjoy time together.

For the Little Caesars team, the evening was a joy, too. They shared how happy they were to be there and to serve our families.

More than a meal

The Love Kitchen’s motto is “Serving love, one slice at a time,” and that is exactly what our families felt. A generous gift like this is a reminder to every family at City Center that they are seen, loved and supported by their community.

Thank you, Little Caesars

We are deeply grateful to Little Caesars and the Love Kitchen team for donating 100 pizzas and giving their time to serve. Partners like you make it possible for Fresno Mission to meet families where they are and walk with them toward a brighter future.
